Growing Pains and Updates

Eventually all of my portfolios, editorial work, CV and everything else that seems relevant will either be archived on this site, or linked directly from it. In the meantime it's going to be a bit messy. Not only will I be trying to keep up with linking new things that get published, but archiving and linking all of the old stuff as well, so that I have one, cohesive (well, mostly cohesive) catalog of my published work.

On one hand, it's really great that I have so much stuff to link up. On the other hand this is a much bigger undertaking than I thought it would be. Yeeesh! I just found 2 backup CD's that had articles published from 1998 that I'd thought I'd lost and about 200 portfolio pictures from various product and runway shoots. Wow...

So while I'm working on all of that, I also:

- Just submitted my review of Beautiful Losers from the SXSW Film Festival.
- Went to my first Blanton Museum B-Scene party - which was a lot of fun for my friend Kathryn and me.
- Participated in and covered my very first Texas Caucus!
- Got to see Bill Clinton speak at UT, read about that here.
- Went to a book signing and got to meet Jordan Rubin, which I will also be writing up soon.
- I also saw Will Potter speak about how the government is using the term "Eco-terrorism" to intimidate people who might speak out on animal rights and environmental issues. Check out Green is the New Red here. That should also be done soon. He's a terrific speaker, one you should catch if you get the chance.

More soon, for now, I'm going back to archiving.
